Southeastern Grasslands Institute Plant Survey - 2025
Tandy Hills Natural Area is a site with an ongoing restoration project of prairies and grasslands in suburban Fort Worth, TX. The efforts going into restoring this unique plot of land in the heart of a metropolitan is resulting in impressive biodiversity. Researchers Allison Wilson and Gabriella Lefevre of, the Southeastern Grasslands Institute, conducted seven vegetation and habitat survey plots on the Tandy Hills Natural Area from May 5th-May 8th 2025. Within these seven plots, 112 unique species were recorded.
