Trying to describe Brave Combo’s music requires a pretty extensive vocabulary – at least when it comes to musical styles. For the past three decades the Denton, Texas based quintet has perfected a world music mix that includes salsa, meringue, rock, cumbia, conjunto, polka, zydeco, classical, cha cha, the blues and more. They are America’s Premier Dance band and a rollicking, rocking, rhythmic global journey -- offering what one critic recently wrote, “Even if you come for the party, you'll leave with something of a musical education.”
Sombati is a world music band based in Fort Worth, Texas. Our passion is bringing music from across the globe, and across time, to life. We are folk musicians in the true sense - that is, we make full use the instruments and repertoire available to us. Today that is virtually unlimited, which explains our crazy quilt approach to music. We play both traditional tunes and original compositions in a variety of styles including Middle Eastern, Central & Western European, Celtic, Latin, klezmer, folk, cabaret, Americana, and surf.

Twice Upon a Time Storytellers
Traveling from preschools to prisons, Twice Upon a Time Storytellers have been sharing their tales together since 1999. Gene and Peggy's presentations blend this ancient oral tradition with personal narrative, science, history, modern nuance, cultural diversity and sometimes a soupcon of silliness to allow audiences to see the world in many new and imaginative ways.
