Movie Night on the Prairie

On May 26, 2012, as part of Prairie Fest x3, Friends of Tandy Hills Natural Area introduces Movie Night on the Prairie featuring Buster Keaton's 1926 silent film masterpiece, The General.

Consistently ranked among the greatest films ever made, Buster Keaton's The General is so brilliantly conceived and executed that it continues to inspire awe and laughter with every viewing.

The 78-minute silent film with a musical soundtrack will be presented on a 12' x 9' outdoor screen powered by the Sun with help from Exeltech and North Texas Renewable Energy Group.

- Movie start time is approximately 8:45 pm.
- Seating is on the grass in front of the stage.
- Food & Beverage by Chadra Mezza & Grill, Good Karma Kitchen and The Wiener Man.
- Nature Hikes and Live Music from 4 - 8 pm at Prairie Fest x3.
- Admission is FREE to Prairie Fest and Movie Night.

Movie Night on the Prairie is sponsored by The Citizen Theater, Fort Worth's first twin-screen art house movie theater. Film introduction by Amy McNutt and James Johnston of the Citizen.
